We believe at FMUMC that service is a vital part of Christian discipleship. As we grow in faith, we are called to serve others—in our church, in the community, and through ministries that help those in need. We invite you to explore ways to serve, trusting that your service can transform both your life and the world around you.

It takes a lot to make Sunday mornings at FMUMC run smoothly; and the Sunday Support Team is right there on the frontline. From greeting folks as they enter the building to ushering them to their seats and assisting in service, sing or play an instrument, to managing the Welcome Desk, and assisting with media and technology, join the Sunday Support Teams!
Moving beyond thoughts and prayers, FMUMC's care team puts prayers into action. Whether your passion is writing cards, delivering meals to families with newborns, visiting the hospitalized and so much more, we're sure there's a place for you!

Is caring for other people one of your Spiritual Gifts? Or perhaps is it a gift you've always wanted to explore and cultivate in your faith life? Then consider serving on the Care Team by joining a Sub-Team. You can learn more about the various teams below. You can contact the Team Leads individually or reach out to our Care Team Chairperson, Jill Welke with more questions.
